Scrap.Autos collects contact information, vehicle details, VIN, location, images and messages that you choose to send. The information is used to consider a possible transaction, respond to you, coordinate a confirmed purchase and prevent abuse.
Messages may be stored in WordPress. Image deletion is scheduled after about 30 days, subject to scheduled tasks; transaction records may be retained as required by law. An independent notification mailbox must be configured by the administrator before email alerts can be sent.

Information voluntarily provided (contact information, VIN, vehicle details, location, photos and messages) is used to respond, assess possible vehicle purchases, check ownership, arrange pickup only if applicable, prevent abuse and meet administrative obligations. Please do not include identity documents, payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information in uploaded photos.
Recipients, retention and security
Authorized Scrap.Autos personnel and service providers needed for hosting or email delivery may process submitted information. New vehicle photos are placed in private storage outside the public document root when supported by the server; photo uploads are refused if secure storage cannot be established. Photos are scheduled for removal after roughly 30 days, subject to WordPress scheduled tasks actually running. Older images from before this safeguard may need separate administrative migration. Transaction or contact records may be kept longer where necessary for operations or legal requirements. Actual security depends on hosting and server controls as well as site code.

You may request access, correction and, where available under law, deletion or limits on use. Legal or operational exceptions may apply. You may ask for an explanation of our handling of information and contact the relevant regulator about a complaint.
Technologies and external links
The theme uses aggregate internal analytics without advertising cookies. Light/dark preferences may be stored on your device. Google links and QR codes open an external service subject to Google’s practices. If other tracking or advertising tools are later added, further notices and consent management may be required.
